This morning I began a list of the dizzying array of things Jacque and I have to be thankful for this year.
Included on that list is the privilege of being a part of the Cypress tribe.
Thank you for the joy of being your pastor.
Thank you for your tenacious commitment to be the hands and feet of Jesus in Haiti and Kenya.
Thank you for throwing your arms wide open to everyone who steps into our space and welcoming them home.
Thank you for giving generously so others may experience faith, hope and love.
Thank you for your eager willingness to boldly take steps of faith in following Jesus.
Thank you for loving Jacque and I (through all my short-comings and quirks) for the last 36.5 years.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours…may you reflect deeply on all of who our God is and has done for you, and may it fill your soul with gratitude. As Maya Angelou once said: “Gratitude turns what we have into enough.”
